I built this out of a pretty specific kind of stress — running late for an exam, or staring at a page of notes that just won't sink in, wishing someone could simply explain it to me.
It's the same reason we all know song lyrics by heart without ever trying to memorize them — we just listen, over and over, and it sticks. I wanted my notes to work the same way: something I could listen to instead of re-reading for the tenth time.
But I also know that listening alone isn't always enough. The real learning happens when you test yourself — when you have to pull the answer out of your own head instead of just recognizing it. That's why Notecast now includes a full quiz engine: multiple‑choice, identification, and enumeration questions, all generated from your own notes, with or without a timer, giving you instant feedback and tracking your weak spots.
